Background/Philosophy

This general practice opened on 1/7/20 as a solo practice for Dr Hummel’s loyal patients . It has since grown to take on many new patients . Dr Lockie joined the practice in 2021. In addition, Drs Jacobs and Bain provide locum relief.

The practice is committed to being accessible to and providing comprehensive primary care to its patients.

The practice is at capacity; nonetheless, openings do exist from time to time. We always do our best to accommodate the many tourists who visit our area and who require medical care while away from home.

This is a traditional general practice where loyal patients are able to have a home visit when it is inappropriate to come to the practice, and  where  Dr Hummel is able to be contacted out of hours for patients who are regular patients or for those who have recently attended the practice.
